Storm Lake Dollars for Scholars scholarships consider the total person. The online application form is scored automatically and anonymously and is based on a scoring procedure that awards up to 240 points as follows:
Personal Data -- 80 points
Work Experience, Activities, Leadership Contributions, Goals and Aspirations, Unusual Circumstances
Applicant Appraisal -- 40 points
An evaluation by someone who knows the student well
Scholastic Performance -- 80 points
Student's Grade Point Average
